Project Description:
The Kazakhstan Meat Cluster Initiative is a large-scale agricultural project aimed at developing a comprehensive beef production and export infrastructure. The project involves the establishment of feedlots and partnerships with over 600 existing farms across Kazakhstan. The initiative seeks to enhance beef production capabilities, improve meat quality standards, and expand export opportunities, particularly to the Chinese market.
Current Status:
As of April 2025, the project is in the implementation phase, with initial contracts signed and preliminary infrastructure development underway. The first batch of beef was exported to China in June 2024 following the lifting of import
