Çalık Holding Legume Processing Plant – Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan

Project Description:Çalık Holding is implementing a project to build a legume processing plant in the Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan. The facility will provide a full production cycle — from raw material intake to final product packaging. The main crops for processing include peas, chickpeas, lentils, beans, and potentially grains and oilseeds. The products will be targeted at both domestic and export markets.

Current Status:The project is in the implementation stage: the business plan has been finalized, land plot allocation is underway, and design and permitting activities are ongoing. The investment agreement was signed in November 2023 during the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR). Construction is planned to begin in 2024, with commissioning scheduled for 2026.
