Project Description
The VOLTREX project is a brownfield greenfield industrial facility under construction to produce a full range of motor, industrial, and technical lubricating oils under the VOLTREX brand. The plant is being developed as part of import‑substitution efforts and export‑oriented industrial expansion in Kazakhstan, aiming to reduce dependence on imported lubricants and improve logistics for domestic consumption. It will manufacture motor oils, hydraulic oils, transformer oils, turbine oils, industrial oils, compressor oils, and transmission oils in compliance with international standards such as API, SAE, and ACEA. The facility includes a modern quality testing laboratory with plans for future accreditation and a used‑oil regeneration and recycling complex to convert waste oils into new technical products, enhancing environmental sustainability. The location within the "Oңтүстік" Special Economic Zone (SEZ) provides logistical advantages for distribution both within Kazakhstan and to regional export markets. The project emphasizes quality control, automation, environmentally responsible operations, and training collaborations with technical education centers. It is developed within the structure of the Alageum Electric industrial group
