PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Tobyl Transport and Logistics Complex (TLC Tobyl) is the first large-scale dry port infrastructure project in Northern Kazakhstan, launched in the city of Tobyl (Kostanay Region). With a planned area of 133.6 hectares and a handling capacity of up to 400,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) per year, which is more than 11 million tons of cargo. Other important details
The project also involves the construction of new railroad infrastructure, terminal facilities and service areas. This will ensure high throughput capacity, modern servicing of cargo flows and comprehensive development of logistics in the region.
The facility is expected to create 500 new jobs, including opportunities for logisticians, operators, IT specialists, maintenance staff and young professionals.
Full digitalization planned for cargo movement tracking. The project also includes a real-time digital cargo tracking system.
Cargo turnover is expected to increase along the North Kazakhstan-South Urals route and in the direction of China.
