Project Description
Druzhba Mining LLP intends to build an enterprise for the production of titanium-zirconium concentrate at the Druzhba deposit in the Maysky district of the Pavlodar region. The total cost of the project exceeds 27 billion tenge. The implementation will take place in stages: in 2025-2026, it is planned to launch the first stage, in 2026-2027 — the second. Reaching full capacity will allow annual production of more than 77 thousand tons of concentrate and create about 200 new jobs for residents of the region. The project's infrastructure includes the construction of a power transmission line with a capacity of up to 5 MW, the construction of a 70-kilometer dirt highway, the laying of water pipes from the Irtysh River and wells, as well as the construction of railway access roads and a dead end in the village of Koktobe.

Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov stressed that the project is of strategic importance for the socio-economic development of the region. He instructed the akimat of the May district and relevant departments to provide the investor with comprehensive assistance at all stages of implementation.
"It is important that all organizational issues are resolved promptly and without delay. This will allow the region to receive modern production, new jobs and additional budget revenues," the head of the region said.
