Project Description

A solemn ceremony of laying a capsule in the foundation of the future Texol Steel Technology foundry, a new strategic facility within the framework of the development of the industrial cluster of the region, was held in the southern industrial zone of Atyrau. The new Texol Steel Technology plant will produce steel parts for railway wagons — stops, supports, clamps, axle boxes, etc. The design capacity is up to 60,000 tons of products per year. The main raw materials are Kazakhstani scrap and ferroalloys, which will increase the level of localization and reduce import dependence. The construction will create 500 jobs. The full-cycle plant is scheduled to be launched in 2027. As part of the ceremony, a time capsule with a message to future generations was laid, signed by the akim of the region and the head of the company.
