The private company BMT Holding Limited, whose ultimate beneficiaries are Bakyt Oishieva and Ruslan Karaev, is to invest 50.7 billion tenge in the extraction and processing of copper ore at the Tesiktas deposit. The Tesiktas field is located in the Aktogay district of the Karaganda region. On February 21, 2025, BMT Holding Limited signed a land lease agreement with the Department of Land Relations of the Karaganda region.
The company has committed to invest at least 16,502 thousand monthly calculation indices annually, or 60.9 million tenge in 2025. BMT Holding Limited received the license on April 19, 2024 and invested 60 million tenge in geological services, drilling and other operations. At the same time, mining and processing of nickel and cobalt, as well as the production of these metals, is one of the main types of authorized activities of BMT Holding Limited.
