PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Qazaq Soda project involves the construction of the first large-scale soda ash (sodium carbonate) production plant in Kazakhstan. The facility is being developed to reduce the country’s dependence on imported soda ash and to establish Kazakhstan as a regional supplier for Central Asia and CIS markets. The plant will be located in the Sarysu District of the Zhambyl Region and will use the ammonia-soda (Solvay) process, one of the most widely used technologies for soda ash production.
