Project Description
The Shymkent Waste‑to‑Energy Plant is a major infrastructure project in Kazakhstan aimed at converting municipal solid waste into electricity and reducing landfill dependence. It involves constructing a modern thermal waste processing facility capable of handling approximately 1,000 tonnes of waste per day (around 360,000 tonnes annually) using advanced incineration technology.
