1. Ownership and Acquisition

On 10 August 2026, Lindian Resources announced the acquisition of 100% ownership of the SARECO processing assets, replacing an earlier planned 51% joint venture structure. The transaction consideration was up to USD 20 million, with the final payment completed on 4 September 2026. This acquisition is separate from the newly announced USD 150 million investment program.

2. Additional Industrial Properties

The acquisition included two warehouses with a combined area of approximately 15,500 m², together with additional buildings, land and related assets. These existing properties provide potential space for future processing expansion, storage and supporting industrial operations.

3. Rare Earth Offtake Agreement

On 3 September 2026, Lindian announced a binding long-term offtake agreement with Carester covering 70% of planned separated mixed heavy rare earth product volumes, with an initial 10-year term and two optional five-year extensions. Carester also secured a right of first refusal over 70% of certain mixed heavy rare earth carbonate production.

4. Additional Raw Material Supply Opportunities

In August 2026, Lindian entered into a stockpile access and option agreement with Summit Atom Rare Earth Company LLP, granting its subsidiary Silkway Metals the right to evaluate and potentially acquire 13,389 tonnes of previously extracted rare earth-bearing material in Kazakhstan. The potential acquisition remained subject to further commercial arrangements.

5. Employment

The Akmola regional administration stated that the investment program is expected to retain 228 existing jobs and create additional employment after the expanded facilities reach their planned operating capacity.
