Project Description
Samruk-Kazyna JSC and the Ashmore investment company, through its subsidiary Ashmore Healthcare International, plan to create the first Western branded multidisciplinary clinic in Kazakhstan, which will become the medical hub of Central Asia. The total investment is about USD150 million. The hospital in Kazakhstan will work together with one of Ashmore’s global clinical partners, which will allow the use of advanced medical technologies and the latest scientific achievements in healthcare in the region. “The Fund highly appreciates the opportunity to integrate the proven knowledge and experience of Ashmore and their American clinical partner into the healthcare sector in Kazakhstan. This initiative will contribute to the adoption of advanced international standards in the field of healthcare”, - Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, said.
