PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As part of a project to modernize the existing municipal solid waste landfill, With You E&C Kyzylorda LLP plans to construct a state-of-the-art waste sorting and recycling plant using South Korean technologies. The project will be implemented in two stages and will become the largest facility of its kind in the region. During the first phase, the landfill's capacity is expected to increase from the current 60,000 to 300,000 tons per year. The cost of this phase is estimated at 9.5 billion tenge. After registration of “With you E&C Kyzylorda” LLP, a “roadmap” was signed between it and the Kyzylorda Akimat, said Murat Balabaev. In order to obtain investment preferences provided for by the legislation, an investment contract was concluded between the company and the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in December 2024. A confirming letter from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan was received about the project's focus on improving the environment and achieving target indicators in the field of solid waste management.
