Other important details

The tender documentation provides for the construction of a two-line detachable monocable gondola system connecting Lower Kolsai Lake and Middle Kolsai Lake. Line No. 1 has an inclined length of 3,506.34 metres and 23 support towers, while Line No. 2 has an inclined length of 2,743.74 metres and 20 support towers. In total, the system will include 43 support towers, Ø50 mm steel ropes, hydraulic tensioning equipment, and eight-passenger cabins. Each line is designed for a maximum one-way capacity of 1,500 passengers per hour, a maximum operating speed of 6 m/s, and an 800 kW main motor. The project also includes three station buildings — lower, middle and upper stations — with planned areas of approximately 1,500 m², 2,000 m² and 3,000 m² respectively. The published national park documentation requires project design approval, coordination with the national park, and a positive comprehensive state expertise conclusion before construction can begin. Environmental measures include wildlife monitoring, protection of rare flora, soil protection, controlled vehicle movement, fire-safety compliance, and measures to reduce the project’s impact on the protected natural area.
