Project Description
The project involves the large-scale development of a nationwide multimodal logistics and warehousing infrastructure across Kazakhstan. Initiated by Turkish company S Sistem Lojistik, the plan includes the construction of modern logistics hubs and terminal facilities in major cities such as Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, and Aktau, with integration into rail, road, air, and sea transport routes. The initiative aims to support Kazakhstan’s role as a strategic link in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) connecting China, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Europe.
The total investment is expected to reach approximately 100 million USD, with support from the Kazakh government under investment agreements and special preferential conditions. One of the first terminals is already under construction at Aktobe International Airport, and negotiations are ongoing regarding the investment contract and long-term tax incentives (SPIC). The project is considered a flagship of Turkish–Kazakh logistics collaboration.
