Project Description
The Stepnoy Leopard Fields, officially known as the Kamensko-Teplovsko-Tokarevskoe area, comprise eight hydrocarbon fields in the West Kazakhstan Region. Discovered during the Soviet era, these fields have remained undeveloped due to a lack of infrastructure. Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC, through its 80% subsidiary Positiv Invest LLP, plans to develop these fields by drilling four wells in the initial phase, targeting recoverable resources between 30 million and 50 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe).The extracted raw sour gas and liquids will be transported via a 120-kilometer multiphase trunkline to Nostrum's Chinarevskoye processing facilities.

Reserves: The Stepnoy Leopard Fields have estimated proved plus probable (2P) gross reserves of 138 mmboe, with approximately 25% being liquids.
Acquisition: Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC completed the acquisition of an 80% interest in Positiv Invest LLP, which holds the subsoil use rights to the Stepnoy Leopard Fields, in July 2023 for $20 million.
Infrastructure: The development includes constructing a 120-km multiphase trunkline to transport extracted resources to existing processing facilities.
