KazaX Minerals Inc. is developing the Lomonosov iron ore deposit in Kostanay Region, located in the Ulyanovsk and Zhdanovsk rural districts. The project includes constructing a beneficiation plant to produce iron ore concentrate with a 67% iron content. With mineral reserves of 505 million tons, the deposit is officially registered in Kazakhstan's state inventory. The project aims to achieve a production capacity of 8-16 million tons of ore per year, yielding 2-4.5 million tons of concentrate annually. Future plans include producing eco-friendly iron ore pellets using gas or hydrogen to reduce the carbon footprint and achieve net-zero emissions.
