The Innovation Complex "Sastobe" is a large-scale chemical production facility under construction in the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan. The plant is designed to produce: • Caustic Soda: 100,000 tons per year • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): 120,000 tons per year • Calcium Carbide: 180,000 tons per year • High-Quality Cement and Lime: Essential for copper production, a key requirement for enterprises like Kazakhmys and other industries in Kazakhstan, Turkey, China, and Russia . The project aims to reduce Kazakhstan's reliance on imports for these essential chemical products and support the domestic manufacturing sector.
