This project involves the phased construction of a high-tech greenhouse complex covering 500 hectares in the Keles district of Turkestan region, Kazakhstan. The first phase spans 51.26 ha and is designed for year-round cultivation of fruit and vegetable products, primarily tomatoes. Water for irrigation will be supplied from the Akylbeksay reservoir, 24.3 km away, through a polyethylene pipeline. The project aims to reach a production capacity of up to 200,000 tons annually and create over 10,000 jobs upon completion. The complex employs advanced climate control, drip irrigation, and biosecurity systems. Environmental impacts have been assessed and deemed manageable. The project is a key agricultural initiative for Kazakhstan with strong state and financial backing.
