The project, led by Miryıldız Mining through its local operator MIRYILDIZ KZ Ltd., involves the development of a combined gold and copper mining and processing facility in the Zhanan-Boko–Zaisan ore zone in Eastern Kazakhstan. The complex will integrate both extraction and processing operations, leveraging Miryıldız Mining’s experience across multiple countries including Turkey, CAR, Sierra Leone, and Gambia. The facility is unique in targeting both gold and copper within one site, in a region identified as having high potential for solid minerals. The project is expected to generate approximately 2,000 jobs, significantly contributing to regional economic development. Geological exploration has been completed, and part of the equipment has already been procured.
