PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is to build a high-tech manufacturing plant for food-grade gelatin in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The plant will process cattle hides via a “full-cycle” method to produce gelatin, including higher value-added products, and will have its own wastewater treatment facilities meeting Kazakhstan’s environmental standards. It is led by the Turkish company İskefe Holding through its subsidiary Halavet KZ, reflecting technology transfer and localization of production in Kazakhstan.
