Project Description
China’s East Hope Group (EHG), a company specializing in non-ferrous metals, plans to establish a vertically integrated industrial park in Kazakhstan. The project aims to create a full production cycle for environmentally friendly aluminum products and covers several key areas – raw material extraction, aluminum-based product processing, and deep processing of high value-added materials.
The first stage of the project envisions the construction of a mining and beneficiation plant with a processing capacity of up to 2 million tons of alumina per year, along with an electrolytic aluminum plant producing up to 1 million tons of aluminum annually.
The project will be implemented in three phases, with the introduction of modern and environmentally clean technologies. In addition, energy facilities are planned to ensure the operation of the industrial complex. This initiative is designed to introduce advanced metallurgical technologies, strengthen Kazakhstan’s export potential in the European Union, Central Asia, and China, and create up to 10,000 new jobs.
