The extracted tungsten concentrate is expected to be supplied primarily to international markets, particularly North America, under a long-term off-take agreement structure. Financing discussions include potential support from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) to help fund capital expenditures related to the development of the mine and processing facilities. The project is considered strategically relevant due to the increasing global demand for tungsten as a critical mineral used in aerospace, defense, and high-technology manufacturing sectors. The development also aims to strengthen Kazakhstan’s position in the global supply chain for critical metals.
