Project Description
Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation, is expanding its existing dairy plant in Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. The project aims to increase the annual production capacity of the plant from 18,000 tons to 40,000 tons by 2026. This investment aligns with Danone's strategic goal of enhancing local production capabilities and boosting exports to neighboring countries, including Central Asian markets, Chinese, Middle Eastern the Caucasus, and Mongolia. The plant will undergo modernization of its production lines, introduction of advanced technologies, and enhancement of quality control systems. Danone has been operating in Kazakhstan since 2010, and this project marks a significant step towards deepening its commitment to the Kazakh market. The initiative also supports Kazakhstan's food security and export diversification agenda.
