PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project entails the development of the Shalkiya polymetallic ore deposit, one of the world's largest lead-zinc deposits, located in the Zhanakorgan District of the Kyzylorda Region. The initiative includes the construction of an underground mine and a processing plant with an annual capacity of 4 million tonnes of ore. The plant will produce zinc and lead concentrates using advanced technologies, including high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGR) and a vertical conveyor system for ore transport. (the project should be completed in 2051.)
