Project Description
The project involves the construction of a modern shipyard on the Caspian Sea coast near the port of Kuryk, Mangistau region, Kazakhstan. The shipyard will build and repair various types of vessels, including tankers, dry cargo ships and universal ferries, in order to strengthen Kazakhstan's maritime infrastructure and reduce dependence on foreign vessels.
The project is being implemented as part of the expansion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and is aimed at ensuring sustainable maritime communication between Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkey. It is also planned to create new jobs and develop a local production base in the region.

· The shipyard will address Kazakhstan's need for at least seven new vessels to operate on the Kuryk–Alat route, currently serviced only by Azerbaijani ferries.
