PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project is a next-generation Urban Air Mobility ecosystem planned for Alatau City in Kazakhstan. It combines eVTOL air taxi operations, vertiport infrastructure, charging and navigation systems, delivery drones, digital airspace management and future maintenance capabilities. eVTOL aircraft technology partner. The AutoFlight Prosperity passenger eVTOL was used for the 19 May 2026 demonstration flight, and AAAG signed a memorandum with AutoFlight for 50 V2000/V5000 series aircraft, including training, infrastructure, ground operations, maintenance and transfer of operational expertise.
Joby Aviation, Inc. aircraft and services partner under a Letter of Intent with AAAG valued at up to USD 250 million. This agreement supports Kazakhstan’s planned first air taxi service but Joby was not the aircraft provider for the 19 May 2026 demonstration flight.
Korea Airports Corporation / KAC - Digital air traffic management / UAM traffic management partner. KAC presented a UAM air traffic management system for integrating air taxis, drones and other aircraft into a unified operational picture.
Shenzhen Urban Transportation Planning Center Co., Ltd. / SUTPC - UATM digital navigation platform partner together with Korea Airports Corporation; involved in the digital low-altitude traffic management layer.
Keeta Drone - Drone-delivery technology participant. Keeta Drone demonstrated smart drone delivery solutions, including a delivery terminal concept, as part of the low-altitude economy presentation in Alatau City.
A2Z Drone Delivery - U.S.-based drone-delivery and automated charging/docking infrastructure participant for the broader Alatau City UAM ecosystem.
