Employment implications: approximately 800–900 workers during construction; 80–100 permanent jobs once the plant is operational.
The project will be implemented through LLP “Aktau Energy Company.” The founders of the joint venture are China Huadian Overseas Investment Company Limited (70%), JSC “Qazaqstan Investment Corporation” (20%), and LLP “MAEK” (10%).
The combined-cycle gas plant will serve as the primary power source, with a wind power plant component planned in the second phase to enhance renewable energy integration.
