The project envisages the establishment of a high-tech automotive manufacturing complex in the East Kazakhstan Region for the production of passenger vehicles, specialized vehicles and modern engines. An agreement of intent for the project was signed between the Akimat of East Kazakhstan Region and East Motors Corporation LLP during the Kazakhstan–China Investment Forum in Almaty on September 25, 2026.
