The Aktobe WWTP Modernisation project involves the construction of a new municipal wastewater treatment plant to replace the ageing wastewater treatment facilities serving Aktobe. The project is being implemented by the city-owned Aqtobe Su-Energy Group JSC with financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under a sovereign guarantee.
