Project Description
This project involves building a modern dairy farm in Kostanay Region, Altynsarin District, in the village of Basbek. The farm is designed to hold approximately 500 heads of cattle, though some local reports mention 660 head. It aims to produce about 3,200 tonnes of milk per year. The financing comes via a low-interest credit (2.5 % per annum) from the regional development institution, SPK Tobol. As part of the deal, the Partner is KХ Tapaev T.B., a local farming enterprise. The farm is expected to create around 26 permanent jobs. It also supports regional food security and local milk‑processing capacity by supplying milk to local dairies. The project is structured as a long-term investment, with SPK Tobol’s participation spanning 2024–2033.

According to a regional news report, during his visit in January 2025, the regional governor said the farm would house “well-proven in our climate Holstein‑Friesian breed” rather than another breed.
The farm is expected to support feed security: Tapaev reportedly plans to sow 2,500 ha, including 1,500 ha of corn and 1,000 ha of silage.
The government provides significant support: 25% subsidy for construction‑installation works and another 25% compensation for equipment; also favorable import conditions for cattle and tax incentives (tax holidays first two years) under the credit agreement.
